Performing my visual acuity test

Snellen's E is a visual acuity test used to assess a person's ability to see details at different distances. It is widely used by eye care professionals to measure the accuracy of your central vision.
The test uses the capital letter "E" in different sizes and orientations. You need to identify the direction of the branches of the letter "E" for each line.

    4. Get ready for the test:
      • Choose good lighting with no direct light on your face or the camera
      • Stabilize your device by placing it on a stable surface. If the medical practice has provided you with the OdySight stand (blue box or easel), you can use it. Otherwise, placing a sufficiently heavy object behind your device will do the trick.
      • Position yourself correctly in front of the screen and keep your hands free
