What if my patient doesn't have a compatible device? 

Device compatibility with OdySight

As OdySight is a medical device, the application can only be installed on devices that meet certain technical specifications, in order to guarantee the relevance and reproducibility of the tests.

Given the sheer number of devices available on the market, it is possible that some terminals not listed may still be compatible with OdySight, provided they meet the following criteria:

Minimum features required :

  1. Operating system:
    Android™: version 8.0 or higher.
    iOS®: version 12 or higher.
  2. Screen resolution:
    Android™: 280 pixels per inch (PPI)* minimum.
    iOS®: 260 pixels per inch (PPI)* minimum.
    For users with visual acuity between 6/10 and 10/10: Resolution of 320 PPI or more.
  3. Screen size:
    Diagonal greater than 4.7 inches.
  4. Required features :
    Front camera.
    Brightness sensor (only for Android™ devices).

What to do if the device is not compatible?

If a patient encounters a message indicating that their device is not compatible when downloading the application, please redirect them to our support team:
